Friends Night giving Ipod Touch

YEAH this is the post about the FREE IPOD TOUCH!

Come and join us to our FRIENDS NIGHT. It'll be on the 29th Feb and 7th March both at 8PM at City Harvest Church which is located in Sunway. I'll be going on the 29th Feb, which is tomorrow, so guys and girls, contact me and you have the a free ride to Sunway and who knows that you might get a FREE IPOD TOUCH!

Ok let me tell you what do we have in this event. This is called Friends Night. It's a night where we bring our friend and come to have some fun time together. We will have games and hot dogs for sales. To buy the hot dogs, you have to buy a coupon which costs for RM4 and you get 2 hot dogs together with the bun and the sauce. Tell me, where can you get hot dogs for that cheap price? huh? No where right? So come and eat hot dogs at a very cheap price. :)

We will also have a special performance by a special celebrity, which is unknown to us. So do come and see who is this celebrity. Who knows? It might be Brian Littrell from the Backstreet boys!!! Wohoo!!! Or it might be one of the Taiwan Artist such as euh... i don't really know their names actually. Anyways, come and enjoy the show. :)

Next, last and not the least, we will have a special lucky draw and if you are the winner of the lucky draw, you'll be very lucky! haha! Well the grand prize of the lucky draw is to get a Ipod Touch! Wow how lucky you will be. Well all if you come to this event! Tell me, which church will give a free Ipod Touch? Even my pastor doesn't have one but he's giving one! Well it's only in City Harvest Church where you can find it. So please do come! OK???

Backstreet boys Concert

Alright! This post is not about the IPOD TOUCH yet. I'm supposed to post it already but I was quite busy over here. Never mind this post is about BACKSTREET BOYS CONCERT!!!!

Yeah BACKSTREET BOYS is here in Malaysia and they are giving a concert at Sunway Lagoon! Guess what??? I GOT FREE TICKETS TO GO THERE!!! WOHOO!!! I'm so blessed man! I really praise God for this because I've never got any free tickets to go to a concert before. Although i'm not a big fan of backstreet boys but I grew up with their songs. hehe...

Family Picture

A lot of people has been asking me about my family picture. They wanted to see if there are really Chinese people in Mauritius. Well let me show you our family picture. This picture was taken last year April when I went back to Mauritius. We seldom take pictures as a family, so this picture is very precious to me.

My little bro is not so little as you can see. He's taller than me and claim to be my elder brother. Well after all you can see who's the elder by the maturity. He's now studying Computer Programming in Mauritius. He wishes to pursue his further studies in Australia.

My little sis is almost becoming the height as me. Well our family on my mother's side, all the uncles and cousins are tall! So we genetically tall but not as tall as a giant of course.

My dad is an accountant, always busy and always have big dreams! My mum is a housewife, always loving, caring and cooks very good food for everybody.

Any comments? Now do you believe that I'm a Chinese from Mauritius? I may look like Malaysian Chinese but I'm from Mauritius. Believe it or not! It's TRUE!!! :)

The 2 Sleeping Beauties!!!

Yesterday when I was preparing myself for my midterm paper, there was these 2 sleeping beauties in the library. Well I must not deny that UCSI library is really a place where you can feel asleep. If one day you're not sleepy, just come to UCSI library and take a book from any bookshelf and start reading. If it's boring, then it's good for you. It will make you sleep faster. Ok i give you some tips. She can sing very well. Maybe she's a music student. The voice that comes from her mouth is so good! I love it! :) She's very pretty and her skin is so soft that it shines and make my eyes to wonder away.


So you're wondering if she's a Christian or not. Well my friend brought her to church yesterday. She loves church and I will bring her to cell group every week. I'm sure that she will like it too! :)

Robin is singing Chinese Song for the first time!

Yups yups! Robin is singing Chinese song for the very first time. Please give him a round of applause!!! *clap * clap * clap *

I just came back from my first Chinese singing rehearsal. It was quite fun. I had to sing Chinese song for the first time and it's really challenging for me. I don't mind to sing English and French songs but Chinese is indeed very challenging!

I've learned Chinese before when I was in school back in Mauritius but then I've forgotten because for me it was of no importance. Little did I know that I will come to Malaysia one day to speak Chinese. Well, yes, Chinese people speaks Chinese in Malaysia, that's the truth that I found out when I came over here. Never mind, I take it as a challenge to learn again. Now there's more fun to learn than to learn in Mauritius because we don't use it in our daily life. At least here I can learn and speak and especially I know how to order my food!!! Muahahahaha!!!!!

So I was saying that I sang Chinese song during my rehearsal. I'm going to perform on this Friday for the UCSI Chinese Cultural Society (CCS) in the Chinese New Year occasion. It's going to be fun! Just now I was practising with Kim Fah and Eny(a nigerian girl). If the rehearsal was fun, I guess that on the day itself, we gonna rock this place! :) YEAH MAN!

Chinese New Year 2008

Chinese New Year(CNY) this year has been a great celebration! Well at first it seems to be nothing special but then it was quite fun. GONG XI FA CAI! GONG HEI FATT CHOY!!!

On the eve of CNY, RongRong invited us, Kim Fah and I, to her house for lunch (and dinner which we were not planning). We all ate very good Chinese food and it was so good that it made us prosperous (in size). I enjoyed eating all these delicious food for CNY and it reminds me all the good food that my mum used to cook for me when I was home. The next thing that we did, is we all went to KLCC and visit and take pictures of the Petronas Twin Towers and of the wonderful fountain.

On the first day of CNY, RongRong had to go back to her hometown, which made us, Kim Fah and I, very bored. Well it was not that bored after all. We decided to go and watch movie in Midvalley. To our amazement, there was a lot of people there. I thought that on such a public holiday where KL is the most quietest place ever, it was crowded indeed. I can't imagine that there were such crowd queuing up for the movie tickets. When we saw the long queue, we didn't want to go and watch movie but in the end, after having our lunch at KFC, which was very crowded also, we went to queue up. Well after the stomach full, we were able to queue up for 30mins to get our tickets. Oh yeah, we watched "MEET THE SPARTANS". It's a very funny movie but I don't understand why the movie is rated as 18PL!!! -_-''' Anyway, we both went to Midvalley for the whole day because we both were very free. It was quite fun because we went to eat the Tokoyaki before we came back home.

On the second day of CNY, we both stayed home and we decided to cook Bak Kut Teh(BKT) at home. It was my first time to eat the homemade BKT. Since RongRong came back from her hometown the night before, we had to add more meat in our BKT. Normally as some of you know, in BKT there's pork. No pork no life! Well that day there was not enough pork, so we put chicken inside as well. At the end of the day it was a success, the soup and the whole BKT was really delicious. Edison, my housemate, also came back from his hometown, came and join us for the dinner. By the way, we cooked the BKT for almost 3hrs, that's why it tasted so good!!!

Homemade Bak Kut Teh

Today third day of CNY, Kim Fah and I decided that we do our assignment together but in the end, Nally called us and said that she's having an open house for CNY and asked if we wanted to come and she didn't mind to come and fetch us. Wow!!! This girl is so good I can tell you. I thought that this year's CNY would be quite boring but then she invited us for lunch and dinner. I was so happy that I could go to her house for CNY to eat all the delicious food. It was all delicious and what's a CNY without ang pau? We both received lots of ang pau and we were both so happy. I was not expecting to get any this year but praise God I've received 10 ang paus today! After all the ang pau, we finally had our tradition Yu Sang for our CNY. As always Yu Sang is Malaysian Style CNY. Normally in Mauritius we don't have such thing but it'll be great if we had it. Not only that, all the houses in her area is very beautiful including hers. I like the designs of it and the decorations they made for CNY.

After seeing all the beautiful houses in the area, we were on our way back to Nally's house and guess what did we find out at the neighbour's house? Well we found out a very strange animal. Actually it's a dog but it looks like a lion!!! Roarrr!!!!! This dog is called a Chow-Chow. We saw 2 Chow-chows. It was so cute!!!

Well that's all I have to say for this 4 days that I've spent for CNY. It's the finished yet. CNY is officially 15 days considered by Chinese people. :p hehe... So I might still get ang pau!!! I'm hoping to get others by tmr! Hahaha!!! My target is still 3 figures this year! haha!!!

Public Holiday... Fun Day!!!

Today is Friday and it's a public holiday. It's called a Federal Day but I have absolutely no idea what this holiday is all about. Anyway, I also had a very fun day today! It was a sunny day, a bit of rain in the afternoon but it was indeed a good day.

I went to Damansara, in a place where all the shopping complex is around such as CineLeisure, The Curve and IKEA. I've been there with RongRong and Kim Fah. RongRong is the one who drove us all the way to there. I was really fun, although our main purpose was not to shop. We really had fun, especially in IKEA. IKEA is a place where they sell furniture for our house and to see how our dream room or kitchen might be. It's so beautiful and it's a place for all the family from different generations. I believe that everyone who goes there enjoys it a lot. So we went there, not to shop, but to have fun! We snapped quite a lot of some crazy pictures while we were there.
